Helping birthing folks during their labor mentally, physically, spiritually and providing information about birth. I usually meet with my clients after a free phone consultation so we can get to know each other better in person. This way we can truly see if our energies match and if I can support birthing person/family in their labor. Once we confirm that I am your doula, we will go over and sign a contract and plan our prenatal meetings. Prenatals will give us a chance to discuss your needs, boundaries and fears about the birth. This will also help us establish a bond and practice what will happen during the birth through education, comfort techniques and so much more.
I connect with birthing person once they are in labor and in need of support and stay with them continuously until after the birth for at least 2 hours. I will be there to help out with breastfeeding and to ensure that the birthing family and baby are bonding. A couple of days after the birth I would like to make a home visit to check in on the transition, bonding and breastfeeding.
*I am currently serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Please do not hesitate to ask if I can support you in your area. :)

***AS OF 2021, WE ARE NOT OFFERING PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION. WE MAY RESUME FALL 2021. CHECK RESOURCE PAGE FOR RECOMMENDED PLACENTA SPECIALIST***
I also offer Placenta Encapsulation services which benefit the birthing person and baby greatly.
Consuming your placenta could potentially help the uterus contract to pre-birth size, increase lactation, improve mood and give a boost of energy. Birthing people and other animals have been consuming their placentas since the beginning of time. I am excited to offer this service and educate families on this old school practice.
There are two different ways to process the placenta: Traditional Chinese Medicine and Raw.
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Method steams the placenta with herbs and lemon to help warmup the womb and help the body use the beneficial properties of the placenta. Also when the TCM is used a broth can be utilized for soups and smoothies.
The Raw Method uses raw slices of placenta and will be immediately dehydrated for maximum nutrients. This method is said to give a boost of energy.
I provide FREE phone consultations explaining my services in depth. If hired to encapsulate your placenta we will then discuss and sign a contract which maps out the services, expectations and fees.
Placenta Encapsulation (TCM or Raw) $250
*$35 charge to deliveries beyond 20 miles*
*Please do not let my fees be the determining factor of why you decide to choose my services or not. I offer payment plans, trades and sliding scale to those who may not be able to afford my asking fees at the moment.
